CHRISTINE HANSEN was Vice-President of the first Ladies Aid organization in 1895. She was born Dec. 19, 1855 in Rudkobing, Langeland, Denmark. She was baptized Jan. 13, 1856 in Skroblov Church by Pastor Sten, and confirmed in the same church.

She came to America in 1885 and lived with her parents (Lars Hansen and wife) until 1897. Then she took a job of keeping house and raising six young children for Jacob Rasmussen after his wife's death in 1897. She joined the church in 1896. (This is Verdie Swensen's aunt.)
